Pearl Harbor

This is a story from America's Library about the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor, which is a United States military base in Hawaii.  This attack, which took place on December 7, 1941, made that day known as one that "will live in infamy."  This event is what caused the United States to officially get involved in World War II.

This site gives an overview of World War II.  It discusses how the war started and what happened after the war ended.  It covers important people and events such as Adolf Hitler, the Holocaust, and different battles during the war.  It is written in very kid-friendly language!
